Since 1887, Zion Lutheran Church and its predecessor congregations have been proclaiming, rejoicing, and living out the good news of Jesus Christ in and around Woodville, Wisconsin. We are a church that celebrates and trusts in God’s grace and mercy; that it is a gift given to us in Jesus, not by merit but out of faith and unconditional love. Love is God’s greatest, eternal promise that we can never tarnish or lose, always there for us—including YOU! Grace changes everything, and because we know this to be true, we are freed to live for and love our neighbors as Jesus does. That is the kind of community we pray and strive to be, and even when we fall short and fail to do so, we are totally forgiven and loved all the same.

If that is some news that sounds good to you, you are more than welcome to join us and participate in the life of our church, because Zion is a house of God for all God’s people! We have programming—Sunday School, Confirmation, bible studies, service and volunteer opportunities—for all ages of life and stages of one’s faith journey. Our worships on Sunday morning have a traditional feel with stained glass windows, pews, hymnals, and an organ, but (hopefully!) God’s Word is heard in a new way that resonates with your life today. When we celebrate Holy Communion, you are welcome at our table; because it’s actually Christ’s table and he ate and shared with anybody and everybody!

For almost 140 years Zion has been celebrating God’s grace for us and the world through all the generations, and we look with hope to our future because God’s love will change everything, including us, except God’s unchanging love. You will certainly be a part of God’s future wherever you go, but we’d be grateful to share some of that wonderful future with you!
